Resistance Dogs is a Telegram NFT gift collection on the TON blockchain built around one character: a plush dog in a hood, the mascot of Telegram's digital resistance. Each of its 96 models dresses the dog as someone else: revolutionaries and rebels (Che Guevara, Spartacus, the pink guards of Squid Game), film, comic and game heroes (Neo, Rorschach, Kratos, Aragorn, Jon Snow, Zorro), gods and warriors of old (Anubis, Loki, a Roman legionary, a viking), hackers with laptops and VPN buttons, and Telegram's own paper plane on shields, caps and slingshots. On top of them come 31 crafted models in gold, chrome, wood, lava and precious stones, available only through crafting.

History

Resistance Dogs appeared in the Telegram gift catalog on October 10, 2026, as a collectible gift that can be upgraded to an NFT on the TON blockchain, with a total supply of just under 20,000. It launched with crafted models already in place: 96 models come from upgrades and 31 only from crafting, six of them legendary (Yin Yang, Designer Dog, Satoshi, Guard Dog, Aura and Ice Walker). The rarest upgrade model is Imposter at 0.1%, followed by Mastermind and Chosen One at 0.2%. Gift #1 carries the Peacekeeper model.

Symbolism

The hood stands for anonymity and the dog for loyalty: together they make the image of a supporter who keeps the network open. The idea goes back to the Digital Resistance that Pavel Durov called for in April 2018, when Russia tried to block Telegram and supporters answered by launching paper planes, the Telegram logo, from their windows.
